About PayEman

Building the ethical BNPL alternative for Muslim communities.

PayEman is an early-stage fintech proposition created to give Muslim consumers and community-focused merchants a more transparent alternative to conventional Buy Now, Pay Later.

We are building a Shariah-aligned payment model that avoids interest-based lending and hidden charges, using a clear purchase-and-resale structure where the customer knows the full price, repayment schedule and commitment before checkout.

Our mission is bigger than instalments. PayEman is designed to support essential household purchases, charitable giving, Muslim businesses and financially underserved communities with a fairer, clearer and more values-led way to pay.

How it works

A clear Murabaha-style purchase flow.

PayEman is designed around a Shariah-aligned purchase model rather than a traditional interest-based credit facility.

1

You choose PayEman

At checkout, you select PayEman and review payment terms upfront.

2

PayEman buys the item

PayEman, or its partner, purchases the product on your behalf.

3

Sold back transparently

The item is sold to you at an agreed price, including a clear profit margin.

4

You pay in instalments

You repay over an agreed period, usually 3–12 months, with no interest or hidden costs.

Simple version: PayEman buys the product first, sells it to you at a transparent agreed price, and you repay through fixed instalments.

Compliance & Regulation

Built with responsible regulation in mind.

PayEman is being structured in line with UK regulatory expectations and ethical finance principles. FCA considerations and Shariah certification are currently in progress with a reputable Shariah board.

The product model is being designed with reference to AAOIFI standards to support transparency, fairness and avoidance of interest-based structures. Formal approvals, certifications and emblems will only be displayed once confirmed.
